Each year more than 600,000 individuals are released from state and federal prisons in the US, and another 9 million people cycle through our local jails.
Often these individuals are released with little more than the clothes on their back and nowhere to go.
At Radical Hope Project we help to provide basic necessities such as clothing, shoes, coats, hygiene products, housing assistance, and transportation to individuals being released from prison or jail. Having many of these basic needs taken care of can increase the chances for previously incarcerated individuals to stay out of prison and jail.
